just dont do push ups every day. gotta give your muscles time to heal.   You could run almost every day, just change it up a bit.   Sprint one day.  moderate distance/time next day.  Go for a long run day after that.

I managed to do 3X20 with 60 seconds. Then on the fourth I got to 15 and just couldn't do it anymore. Fuck that was some next shit. I'm gonna set myself a target to be able to do 5X20 by the end of this week.

told ya.   thats still pretty good for not doing push ups regularly.  just dont do push ups very day.  your muscle fibers need time to heal and repair themselves.  then they get stronger.  you could work abs daily though.

But yeah I'm not a push up maniac, I do more running and shit, even that I aint done in a while.

I was doing normal ones. I was trying to vary the width of my hands apart from each other too.

I'm doing a schedule for about 3 days a week training with different intensities of running etc so that's all well, about two days rest should do.

But what to do instead of the chinnin cause that's a key part in the schedule.

pretty common exercise for push ups in the army. 


Do push ups for a minute, then rest for a minute, then do em again.

whatever you do don't go training with weights dudes, atleast if you want to do more than just look cool. excersises make your muscles adapt to certain movement which is pretty important.

although wearing weights wont hurt if your training for endurance, like road marching.
