lolwutPrism Research is home to a 52 bed clinical trial facility where people like you and me voluntarily subject ourselves to drugs never before been tested on humans.
just like the rest of us, i'm looking to get rich quick. this time the trade-off for my motivation (more time off this summer) can come at the price of ...well, nobody really knows.
the risk depends greatly on the details of each specific trial, but generally, the more $$ i want, the more risk there is and the longer i have to stay; and the longer i stay (lets say a two-week, $3,300 trial) the greater the risk for side-effects.
the staff will monitor my health more than once a day, and depending on the trial, i will be given specific meals and be under a more close, detailed watch.
so...
i'm in a bit of a predicament.
the pay looks good (about $250 a day for two weeks). the possible side-effects don't (i'm looking into it via emails/phone calls).
i have to stay at the facility in their bunks and living room (pics below), but i get phone/internet access and such, so my rat cage doesn't look too much like a rat cage, but still.
my question to you all is this: what do you think? worth it? not worth it? need more info? and if you feel like debating moral issues, go right ahead.
