There might be torrents available of this DVD image, but I don't trust them, if you do you can hunt this down probably - on teh Internetz.

If you enroll you can download this, else not. It's a bit of a pain in the arse (3-5 min.s), but you can just make some shit up, then download it.

Info:
1.) This RTM (Release To Manufacturing) build is the final build of Service Pack 1.
2.) It is more than a 1 Gig. file in size.
3.) It contains both 32bit and 64bit installations.
4.) If you're running Vista Home or Vista 64 Home Editions and have keep up with updates - you probably wont notice that anything happened other than you just went through a long install process (install, reboot, reboot... etc). It really addresses improvements in the Business & Ultimate Editions (32 & 64 bit) Vista. The Home Editions get very little or no real performance improvements, from what I've read & heard.

JUST the service pack... This is Vista service Pack 1 (final build), and it should just be available to everyone. Why does one have to jump through hoops to download it? Microsoft BS that's why.

PS: You'll probably have to use MS Internet Explorer to download it, I did (else this message while using Firefox "your browser is not supported.")

Because it's NOT available yet. Wikipedia says mid-march. I think this is just a special release for some people.

It's a beta - if you install, be prepared to have a lot of weird things happening on your comp.

No it's not a Beta... this is the OEM Final Build of SP1 - it's the Final Build. Anyways, I already un-installed the Beta SP1 to install this... thanx for your concern though (PS: I didn't have any issues with the Beta).

It's the RTM version of it. If memory serves me right, there's a caveat: you have to re-format. Just wait until March when it comes on Windows Update in a nice, non-reformatting form

Woo hoo! I can finally try out Vista now! I was holding out until the final SP came out. And luckily my extra harddrive arrived earlier this week Looks like my weekend just got a little busier. Can't wait to try out DX10 as well as finally putting my 4 gigs of RAM to use.

What the difference here is, is that this is the OEM version of the service pack, that doesn't make it a beta. OEM is made for system builders and can only be installed on a single pc (in the case of full windows installations that is), so they can ship it with their pc's. Not much difference though, OEM only hasn't got a fancy package. Imma download this

You have to lie, say you're like a company, and sign-up to Microsoft's partner program. Click-that --> [Enroll Now]

I have the extracted, setup.exe and ???x64.exe (about 740mb) + ???x86.exe (about 440mb), stand alone installation files. They say RTM-OEM on the download but they aren't, they are the upgrade to SP1 installation files... and that is all. (To bad BF2s can't just host them, for ya'll).
