Now, if we were talking about Israel's method of handling terrorists, your argument would be much stronger.

The EU does seem intended as a body of government to unite all of Europe, but I think each of these countries will at least remain culturally unique for another 50 years or so.

There are other things at work though.  Europe will have to continue an open immigration policy for its working population to be able to take care of the aging locals.  "Native" population growth in most European nations is very low, but the young people that immigrate to Europe are becoming more and more significant as the economic backbone of Europe.

Inevitably, this means Europe will slowly become more Indian, North African, and Middle Eastern in culture.  This isn't a bad thing, but it does mean some changes will result from it.

There's no particular reason why low population growth is a bad thing. We're so rich these days that there's little chance of the aging baby boomers causing a huge economic problem. We supported them as kids while the country was recovering from a massive war, we're far richer now.

Surely low population growth is a good thing, I don't see the need for large scale immigration.

No. Europe will stay Europe as it has always been. A massive multicultural blending pot? Yes. But we will never lose our identities as Europeans. Even so, the original ethnic races still far outnumber the non-western foreigners coming to our countries.

Europe is ALREADY not Europe "as it has always been". Or has that Euro thing been around longer than I think? Your countries are become "states" in a European Union. Much like the US.

That our countries are melting togheter is a good thing in my opinion, I actually support that. Even so, the different regions, or states in this one big Europe still have their own cultures and colours, that we manage to get along better is just good. It's like cities, every single one has it's own history and customs, and many of the European countries are pretty related in their ways.

However, that immigrants which are not of european descent would change our cultures is not true. They add more, but they are still a small fractions of the actual entity called "Europe". I'll take the Netherlands here as example, because we actually have a lot of non-european immigrants compared to most countries here on average. 8% of our total population consists of middle eastern, azian and african people. Even so, I do not see major differences in our culture here, just that it has become more varied and colourfull. Though there still is the major dominant culture which is ours, the dutch.

Immigrants will always play an important part in Europe, but they will never change our ways dramatically. There are still alot of special requirements for entering European countries, and if you get denied by one of the countries in the European Union you will not be able to retry in another country that is part of the European Union. Thus the amount of non-european immigrants will always be alot lower than the actual original ethnic groups in here.

Well, the mexican problem with the US is pretty different from how Europe actually works. And furthermore, if you look closely I'm not contradicting myself. That we're melting togheter is good, as I said but I also explained that European countries are somewhat like different cities. Each one of them has it's own history and customs, but we are all pretty related to eachother, there are no real major cultural differences inbetween for example, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

Ofcourse some things will change, but each country will still be clearly seperable from the others around it, atleast - that's how I see it.

Do you feel choked with PC in your countries, if so who is influencing all of PC?

However you'd be surprised, the PC might be about Muslims but it isn't Muslims doing it. It's usually White people meddling in others affairs. The Muslims generally shun them. Infact most I know are embarrassed when it makes the news. They don't care about what Valentines day is called, it's like a "Oh not again..." moment for the Muslims I know.

Question 1: Well seeing as I can't really make any decision out of personal experience here (and being used to the customs of the last 16 years) I'd say, probably yes. There have been major changes in Europe in line with important historical events, and more immigration / freedom to go do what you want, also WAY more cooperation inbetween European countries than ever before, it skyrocketed after the 2nd world war.

Question 2: Well, sometimes yes. It's as if people see the book of law as some kind of overly sacred thing which must be followed step by step without any exceptions. This makes people overlook what's actually right in the situation, and what would be logic seen from a moral and responsible point of view. I'm not sure who is in charge of some of the most redicoules things but politicians seem to be very fond of using PC nowadays.

Regardless of the orgins of the PC, it apparently exists, and it is bringing changes to Europe, just like the US. I simply do not want these changes. Our pushers of PC are "white people" as well, trying to buy the minority vote, never the less, there it is.
