ive had it perscribed before for a few days from wisdom teeth and various hockey injuries, i just feel a little less lightheaded than cigs and your just numb in the places of pain, I act a little funny, but then again i always do
And the funny part is i have a lifetime supply in my cab from my dad.
along with xanax and oxys and ive never thought about touching any of it

Have you attempted to talk to this friend about her habit? In my opinion that would probably have a much better effect on her addiction. I know if my parents had confronted my when I was 15 about drug usage, I would have said whatever to appease them, then did what the hell I wanted to anyway.

Would everybody stop ridiculing him? It's a serious issue. Tell her parents, when (if) she gets cleaned up she may realize that you care about her and whatnot.

I can easily see how a parent wouldn't notice. Teenagers are difficult to figure out, even if they aren't doing drugs they can be moody and change at a whim. Its been going on for awhile now and its really starting to be once a blue moon to once a blue sky thing.
The reason I cant decide is because its none of my business, but on the other hand you care about the person and if they got severly fucked up over this and died or something, id feel pertty damn guilty.
This persons starting to hate everything and be angry, we used to be great friends and really care about eachother (girl so no im not gay) and now shes just... i dont know. i cant directly do anything because i dont go to the same school and shes been grounded.

I had a situation like this in 8th grade. This girl I was pretty good friends with came into school and we were in our technology class (mandatory, bullshit tbh) and she's popping advil like they're fucking candy. Now, 1 hospital advil is equivilent to 6 normal advil, but she took like...probably close to 40. She said she started to feel dizzy and I'm trying to tell her to go to the nurse and tell them what happened. She wouldn't. I did. Turns out, I saved her life. She passed out in the bathroom the next period and almost died. If it wasn't for me, there was a good chance it would've been too late.
I'm willing to bet they aren't getting the Vicodin in a script from their doctor. Probably illegally or from their parents' stash. Either way, the parents need to know. If they're going the illegal route, they can wind up in jail or dead. If they're stealing it from their parents' legal stash, their parents can be held accountable for not controlling their controlled substances.
