ive had it perscribed before for a few days from wisdom teeth and various hockey injuries, i just feel a little less lightheaded than cigs and your just numb in the places of pain, I act a little funny, but then again i always do

And the funny part is i have a lifetime supply in my cab from my dad.
along with xanax and oxys and ive never thought about touching any of it

Have you attempted to talk to this friend about her habit? In my opinion that would probably have a much better effect on her addiction. I know if my parents had confronted my when I was 15 about drug usage, I would have said whatever to appease them, then did what the hell I wanted to anyway.

I can easily see how a parent wouldn't notice. Teenagers are difficult to figure out, even if they aren't doing drugs they can be moody and change at a whim. And snorting vicodin isn't like shooting up heroine or snorting coke, it's not hard to seem normal when you do it (as long as you don't have any stuck in your nose)

I had a situation like this in 8th grade. This girl I was pretty good friends with came into school and we were in our technology class (mandatory, bullshit tbh) and she's popping advil like they're fucking candy. Now, 1 hospital advil is equivilent to 6 normal advil, but she took like...probably close to 40. She said she started to feel dizzy and I'm trying to tell her to go to the nurse and tell them what happened. She wouldn't. I did. Turns out, I saved her life. She passed out in the bathroom the next period and almost died. If it wasn't for me, there was a good chance it would've been too late.

I'm willing to bet they aren't getting the Vicodin in a script from their doctor. Probably illegally or from their parents' stash. Either way, the parents need to know. If they're going the illegal route, they can wind up in jail or dead.
