I have owned season tickets to a local pro hockey team for about 6 years now. The finally have a very small chance of making the playoffs (I doubt it). So I got an email from the team stating that if we (season ticket holders) wanted playoff tickets, we would have to buy our season tickets for next year by March 7th or something like that. Now correct me if I am wrong, but aren't the playoffs part of this season? What the fuck do they have to do with next year?
Now I know the business decision behind it. But it would make sense if the team actually won once and a while. I do not think they will get away with this here. I think it will hurt them in the long run.
Should I buy season tickets for next year, or tell them to fuck off?
