Not sure why my OP got censored. But here it goes again.

It is obvious blacks were not the only race held as slaves, yet they seem to be getting all of the attention for it. Why? Why is the black communities pain and suffering so much more great than mine. My ancestors suffered as well, yet no one is speaking out for reparations on my behalf. I will also bet that anyone reading this OP will think I am a nut for asking for it and a racist for even mentioning it. Is this another double standard of which I, as a white person, must contend with, or am I due just as much a piece of the reparations pie as any one else who makes claims against our history? My ancestors were apparently also held in bondage and I want my reparations for it..........So again I ask, where do I sign up.

Perhaps any slavery post not related to African bondage in the US is racist and against the rules. Or maybe it's just that white slavery is 'just desserts' and taboo to mention.

Not sure, I think there is still slavery today in the world isn't there? and 300 years probably isn't that long for a race to be held as slaves. I am thinking the Jews probably won that title. Anyway, it is clear that blacks were not the only race ever held as slaves. Yet when we think of slavery we think of American history 200 years ago and forget everyone else.

side note.......the term slaves actually came from the Slavs that were held in bondage by the Vikings I think it was. Was on history channel last night. Reason for the OP

Ya i saw that, But i knew this since i was like 5? Hell i dont remember when exactly but i remember that It was the Muslim Kingdoms who bought most of my peoples as slaves, Especially the women and children! And you know whats even funnier? That they started slavery in africa! They were the ones that sold the first blacks as slaves, Not to the europeans but to each other in the 700's, And they were the ones who coined the term nigger! Not the whites!
