What's a book?
That just shows you how unbelievably ignorant you are to the world. Someone who doesn't read should be banned from having remotely intellectual debates.Mek-Izzle wrote:
I don't really read books tbh. There's little out there in the Lit World that interests me
Sounds like you have a good choice of some very famous authors. Although Aldous Huxley is very... nonsensical in ways. I can't stand some of his books, such as "A Brave New World".Uzique wrote:
Mixing time between:
War & Peace - Leo Tolstoy
Keep The Aspidistra Flying - George Orwell
Complete Poetry of T.S. Eliot
The Perennial Philosophy - Aldous Huxley
The French Lieutenant's Woman - John Fowles.
I read quite a lot... normally for many different purposes (some for enjoyment, some for education, others just for 5-minute skimreads etc.)
Dude, thats like saying "Yeah I know there a lot of hot women out there, but I don't find any of them interesting." HAHA book virgin!!Zimmer wrote:

Leo Tolstoy is brilliant and so is Eliot.
Never really thought much of him. As a book to analyse and try to understand his immensely accurate theories, fine, but as a book to read and enjoy, no thanks.Blehm98 wrote:

Animal farm is a 5 minute skim read, but 1984 is a good book...
