Its says on that site that even if the letter S is written at the back of the LCD that doesn't necessarily mean you have an "S" panel. You will find instructions on how to determine what panel you have on that site.Winston_Churchill wrote:

well my luck, Miy 226bw is the AU in service menu, even though I have an S model..I think I remeber reading about this last year, but didnt have time to pay any mind to it at the time..ohwell the 226bw's work fine..so shrug

Is this still an issue for the 226bw monitors or has Samsung stopped shipping the A and C panels? I'm thinking about buying one tomorrow so I'd like to know! Right now I can get it for $420, which is a good price here in sweden at least.
