i am finding this VERY hard to do. does anyone have a server that is good for these types of rounds or just idling? thanks
Look for 64 player servers on chinese maps with few people in Around 16 is a good number. I get most of those time based awards on Dragon Valley even on 32man size you can get a lot of time in.
Just keep trying youll get it eventualy. Its awkward having these time constrictions for awards as surely the idea is too capture all the flags & win the map asap

64 player maps. With 16 players in it. The rounds can get up to 1h 30min long. Very good for high points IAR. I was commander in one of those once and ended up with 250 points and a gold medal after my team won.

Yea the large maps that only have 16-24 players on it. I played on Karkand last night with 20 players and was playing for what seemed like ever. Finished with 7 matches in 4 hrs 48 min. (got in on the end of the 1st match) I was able to get my Meritorious Unit and my Valorous Unit. Averaged almost 70 pts a round, without being the commander. Used to play only maps with 64 players on it, but now have found an appreciation for the large maps with fewer players.

Stryyker I was just thinking about making a thread for this exact problem.

I am guilty of calling artillery on my own teammates to stop them from taking a last flag.

stryyker you bastard! you have expert knife and explosive and I don't
My top time is 1:30 hrs. This was on a warlord 64 300+ map with max. 16 players.
Whats up with this playing long-thing?? I mean, if the goal is to win the game, your best round should be really short, cause you take flags/kill enemy fast..??Bernadictus wrote:

Also, look for 64 player maps that have UCP for both sides, so that the round doesn't end prematurely because one team has no flags left
Hah. I wish my commander would have done that a few times. Taking flags isn't everything. The joy of the kill is more fun.polarbearz wrote:

Very true, and Polarbearz, I'm never going to join you through xfire when you're commander....Ilocano wrote:
