Terrorist, although for my path of logic to work it would have to be a successful one who has actually killed x number of people. The big decision maker for me was actually killing people so I was between terrorist and serial killer.
My manner of thinking followed this prioritized plan:
1) Terrorist
2) Serial killer
3) Rapist or molestor, as I don't really care
4) Dealer
5) Politician

The definition of child abuse is so broad, even in America. Some people feel spanking a child is child abuse. Should a mother or father who does that deserve to die? Do we need to define what constitutes heinous enough child abuse?

Then you're not thinking about the right politicians. Pol Pot is a decent example of a corrupt politician. He probably killed more people than all the terrorists ever, anywhere.

It's a personal thing. If you are a parent, you will understand. But in general, speaking from the vigilante perspective, abuse, severely injure, or kill any of my loved ones, and that said perpetrator will suffer a long and painful death from my hands.

Hey, I totally understand vengeance, but once the law has apprehended a child molester, they should just lock him/her up in a sanitarium with no chance of release. In most cases, they have a mental disorder that requires medication to neutralize.

Now, if the molester kills anyone, then the death penalty makes more sense. In many ways, I believe in the eye-for-an-eye approach.

I'm not sure if some people here appreciate the damage child abusers do.

Imagine turning a normal, healthy person into a depressed, suicidal wreck incapable of connecting with any other human being, unable to form relationships, take any pleasure from sex - probably there is plenty more - without realistic hope of a cure for the rest of their lives.
Its not the actual assaults, its the unlimited terror and the destruction of the adult-child trust implicit in every human being from birth.
