I got a bunch of songs from an album that hasn't been released yet, and the quality isn't the best. How can I make it sound clear and crisp?
a)Wait for it to be released and buy it?
or
b)Find a better copy.

b)Find a better copy.
Those are my only options?
Bummer. Thanks.
Bummer. Thanks.
It's basically the same as trying to make a 4x5 picture into a poster, by cutting up the 4x5.Ryan wrote:

Well, technically, the quality come in the bit rate of the audio file, as in how well the digital approximated the analog signal. Usually, a lower quality sound file will have not as many approximations, and a higher quality file will have more. What you are trying to do is take the lowered amount of files, and make it sound better, which is impossible. A similar thing (which can be done, but produces... interesting... side effects) is to lengthen a sound file in an editor (such as ProTools). This adds in extra digital noise, and does not sound as good as the original.RDMC wrote:

It's like having a picture which is 640x480 and trying to make it look non-pixelated on a 1280x1024 background.
You can't do it.
