Questions apply for just general everyday life, not for specific people or scenarios.

How old are you?

At what age do you consider or would describe someone as "old"?

(Or another way of putting it) At what age does youthfulness stop?

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in mental ability as you have aged?

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in physical ability as you have aged?

Have you noticed any changes in appearence (wrinkles, hair loss, weight gain etc) as you have aged?

Has you opinion of older people changed as you have gotten older?

Do you want to stay the age you are now or do you enjoy the changes that come with age?

much different question - I'd say it depends on what you mean by youthfullness.  I would argue that it never has to, but I would consider someone no longer youthful after 20.  Naturally, it's entirely relative

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in mental ability as you have aged?
increase

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in physical ability as you have aged?
not yet

Have you noticed any changes in appearence (wrinkles, hair loss, weight gain etc) as you have aged?
hair loss, but that's really it

Has you opinion of older people changed as you have gotten older?
nope, always respected the elderly for their experience ... not parents necessarily ... but that's different.

Do you want to stay the age you are now or do you enjoy the changes that come with age?
I look forward to aging really from an academic standpoint

How old are you?

22

At what age do you consider or would describe someone as "old"?

50

(Or another way of putting it) At what age does youthfulness stop?

Youthfulness?  I think your 'youth' ends once you get saddled with personal responsibility and accountability.  I don't think 'youthfullness' has a cut off, since it is a quality and not a state of being.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in mental ability as you have aged?

Sure.  I might be young still, but I used to be able to recall entire conversations months later.  Now I can barely remember last week.  That might be related to stress and other factors though.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in physical ability as you have aged?

Not yet, no.

Have you noticed any changes in appearence (wrinkles, hair loss, weight gain etc) as you have aged?

Not yes, no.

Has you opinion of older people changed as you have gotten older?

Not really, no.  I never had an opinion of 'older people' as a group.

Do you want to stay the age you are now or do you enjoy the changes that come with age?
I don't want to be 22 forever.

How old are you?

28 (nearly 29)

At what age do you consider or would describe someone as "old"?

60

At what age does youthfulness stop?

When you have a house, wife and children.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in mental ability as you have aged?

No noticeable difference but my work entails thinking so I guess I'm giving my mind a constant workout.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in physical ability as you have aged?

Not as yet, although I'm beginning to have difficulty with 5pm to 3am drinking binges on Fridays - they generally make Saturday a complete write-off, which wasn't the case in the past.

Have you noticed any changes in appearence (wrinkles, hair loss, weight gain etc) as you have aged?

Very slight weight gain - not from age, just from eating well. No hair loss. Not really anything noticeable in the way of wrinkles.

Has you opinion of older people changed as you have gotten older?

Yes. I realise that they are just children inside bigger bodies, learning and making mistakes just like children do.

Do you want to stay the age you are now or do you enjoy the changes that come with age?

The passage of time is inexorable. You just gotta live with getting old. Frankly I would prefer to be 2 or 3 years younger than I am.

(Or another way of putting it) At what age does youthfulness stop?

This is a state of mind, not a state of being.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in mental ability as you have aged?

Unfortunately, yes.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in physical ability as you have aged?

Unfortunately, yes.

Have you noticed any changes in appearence (wrinkles, hair loss, weight gain etc) as you have aged?

I have a pretty good patch of gray in my goatee and some in my hair.

Has you opinion of older people changed as you have gotten older?

Not really.

Do you want to stay the age you are now or do you enjoy the changes that come with age?

Since this obviously isn't possible, and only a hypothetical question, no.  If I were to retain my knowledge but could be a different age, I would go back to about 25.  If I couldn't retain my knowledge, then I would stay where I'm at now and continue aging.

About 32. I find myself ranting about "kids today" which basically means I am no longer a young guy. I am a complaining old fart.

twiistaaa wrote:

Decrease. Although that's down to the 'colourful' lifestyle I have been leading for the past 20 years. My work keeps me mentally on my toes. But I notice it, if have a few weeks off work. It takes a few days of gentle stretching to get my brain back to full working order. My memory is completely shot. I can't remember things I did the day before etc, but I have a system. Basically I have done allot of crazy shit to my mind and body over the years which has brought the memory lose on. I am not as quick either. I used to be able to convert from Imperial to metric areas in my head instantly. Now I gota do a sum on a piece of paper.

twiistaaa wrote:

Yeah, big time, lol. Were as I used to eat twice as much as I do today and was very active physically, working 12 hour days, kids etc leaves me little time to be active so I am not as fit as I used to be. I think you can remain fit as you get older. It just takes more effort.

twiistaaa wrote:

Have you noticed any changes in appearance (wrinkles, hair loss, weight gain etc) as you have aged?
Yeah. About 8 years ago my hair started to recede at the front and I thought, shit here goes my hair. But it stopped after a year and has actually got thicker and wiry. I have grey hairs sprouting and have more body hair than when younger. It is true what they say. Old age is when you loose hair were you want it and gain it were you don't.

twiistaaa wrote:

Has you opinion of older people changed as you have gotten older?
Not really. I always respected them as I know someday I will be one.

twiistaaa wrote:

I think this is the best time of your life, your 30s. Although they say the 40s are the new 30s lol. In your 30s you are old enough so no one tells you what to do, yet you can still get away with chasing 18 year olds......................sweet.

At what age do you consider or would describe someone as "old"?65

(Or another way of putting it) At what age does youthfulness stop?Physically probably about 40 onwards, mentally I don't feel it has to stop until someone sort of debilitating disease kicks in.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in mental ability as you have aged?Noticeable increase in focus and concentration.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in physical ability as you have aged?I started doing weights at about 20 and I feel in the strongest, best shape of my life at the minute but I'm a bit more susceptible to knocks and injuries nowadays.

Have you noticed any changes in appearence (wrinkles, hair loss, weight gain etc) as you have aged?I've went from about 10 stone (140 pounds) to 12&1/2 Stone (175 pounds) in the last 6 years of weight training. I keep my hair really short (skinhead) so some people think I have a receding hairline but I actually don't at all. I've gotten a lot hairier in other departments though! I never had a hairy chest before but am now sporting a nice caveman style mini chest-rug! As regards wrinkles, I've started to look older but not in a wrinkly way (I have a lot of scars that look like wrinkles though!), I actually like how I look as I get older...more character if you will.

Has you opinion of older people changed as you have gotten older?I've always had respect for my elders as they say but I've grown to appreciate more what knowledge often comes with experience (though not always, you get some really dense OAPs out there too).

Do you want to stay the age you are now or do you enjoy the changes that come with age?I enjoy the changes, though I am developing chronic back pain...I could do without that, thank you very much!

How old are you?

23 (24 in may)

At what age do you consider or would describe someone as "old"?

65

(Or another way of putting it) At what age does youthfulness stop?

34, by this i mean when can you still get away with doing youthful things, if you saw someone who is 60 listening to t-pain or clubbing something would be out of place.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in mental ability as you have aged?

Increase in focus and understanding, about the same for speed.

Have you noticed an increase or decrease in physical ability as you have aged?

Stronger and more endurance but less flexible and its easier to pull a muscle.

Have you noticed any changes in appearence (wrinkles, hair loss, weight gain etc) as you have aged?

Slight receeding hairline but its nothing to worry about (yet ), faint lines but you really have to look hard.

Has you opinion of older people changed as you have gotten older?

Yes, for better and worse. When i was young i thought all adults were intelligent, responsible and knew what was going on, but now i see some people no matter how old they are just never grow up. But on the other hand some older people are more insightful and less naive than i thought they were when i was younger.

Do you want to stay the age you are now or do you enjoy the changes that come with age?

mentally i like aging, physically it would be nice to stay in my 20s for the next 50 or 60 years of my life. Although like someone else said, i don't mind some of the character you get when you age. you become more defined (if that makes sense)
