I've got the classic nForce problem, it won't boot with all slots full of RAM. Anyone got any tips for helping this?

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I think our server has the same board. We use 1.5GB of DDR333 RAM and it works flawlessly...and has taken a bit of a beating over the years, too!

Well, there has to be a way to get it working with three sticks, if there wouldn't be, they wouldn't put three slots on it.

This is my secondary rig, I've paid 15€ for the CPU, 5 for the HD. (Sweet deal, 5€ for 200GB ) I'm looking for free solutions here.

Yeah, just did that.

I've tried:

RAM speeds 200, 166, 133, 100MHz
Lower and higher timings
2.6, 2.7 and 2.8v
Unplugging some IDE devices
Resetting CMOS

First of all, DDR333 is more than enough for BF2. Any DDR is, really. Second, this is DDR400. Third, you would know, if you would've read the thread, that this is not my main computer. I've got 2GB DDR800 in my gaming rig.

I've been using it for months.

EDIT: The problem seems to have been solved by overclocking the RAM, feeding it with 2.8v, and running it at lower-than-stock timings.
