No, I find the max by putting the fan on 100%, OCing until artifacts show, clock down 10Mhz on Core and Mem and it's 24/7 stable.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. There's really very little risk as long as you don't increase the voltages. I've done all kinds of stupid things to my X2 5200+, like increasing frequencies 100MHz at a time, and it still runs like a champ. Just clear CMOS, reboot, and you're good to go.Scorpion0x17 wrote:
