I have 1x250GB and 1x500GB HDDs in my PC.
So I installed XP and noticed that there were 2 HDDs under "My Computer", and that one was 127GB, so I assumed I had made some partition or something my accident when I installed it, and that the new 500GB wasn't working for some reason.
However, I later found out that the other one was 232GB. so I have 1x232GB and 2x127GB when I should have 1x250GB and 1x500GB.
The 232GB ( C: ) has the system files from my previous Vista Install, While the 127GB ( D: ) has the current install files.
So C: could well be the old 250GB, but how did 500GB turn to 127?
Btw, the 500GB turns up in BIOS.
