Valve wouldn't create a map of their own if one or two classes were at a disadvantage.
Take 2fort, for instance:-
- The Scout has the bridge in the middle to hop across
- The Soldier can rocket jump into the enemy base
- The Pyro has the small corridors in enemy bases to attack people
- The Demoman has stickies to hop from one side the the other. Also, the small corridors are good for laying sticky traps
- The Heavy dominates in the smaller corridors and can hold his own on the bridge (accompanied with a Medic)
- The Engineer has some sneaky spots to hide his sentry around
- The Medic is just the Medic and heals people
- The Sniper has the battlements to snipe from
- The Spy has places to hide and disguise at
That's what I meant. Scout's not really good for using his Scattergun on 2fort. Maybe bat, but not Scattergun. Atleast, for me it's that way.DefCon-17 wrote:
