Ok to update:
First I gotta thank everyone for their advice and heads up. It did prove valuable. I was so impressed with Germany that I sent for my family and they stayed 5 days.
Here is where we went:
Rothenberg: I loved the history, my wife loved the shopping. Go figure.
Dachau: I did this my first weekend. Not at all what I expected. I thought it would be darker. (For the lack of a better adjective)
Nurnberg: Loved it, the castle and cathedrals especially.
Ipsheim: Wine vineyards. Rolling hills and villages as far as you can see.
Nuenswanstein Castle. ehhhhh what can I say, I woulda love it more if there was more history attached to it, but lets face it is only 150 years old. Big deal.
Drove from Bad Windsheim to Berchtesgaden via Fussion to Innsbruck Austria. The drive through the Alps was incredible, and unbelievable.
Konigsee: Took the boat ride to the end of the lake and walked to the Obersee Lake. I can not lie; between Konigsee and Hintersee I have never experienced anything this beautiful in my life.
Hintersee: Took the boys row boating and paddle boating here. Again, some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. Nothing in the states can compare these places.
"Eagles Nest": I was impressed with the views from this spot but that is about it. This place is very short on history and the fact that Hitler was hardly even there lessens its worth in my opinion. However, the views overseeing Berchtesgaden, Konigsee etc... is stunning.
Guys forgive my spelling if I misspelled some of these places, I just don't feel like looking up the proper spelling.
I am at the hotel now, my family flew out today and I fly tomorrow. It was an unforgettable trip and I can not wait for my next visit.
