Today 2 men from Fathers 4 Justice- Mark Harris and Jolly Stanesby scaled onto Labour deputy leader Harriet Harman's house to protest. Fathers 4 Justice is made up for men wanting access to THEIR children. Do you think they have a point?

So anyways, i've often heard stories of women saying: It's MY baby, I carried it for 9 months its mine"

Do you think that women could say this, since they wouldn't even have the baby if it wasn't for the father? Men and women should have equal rights in seeing the baby, not one person can "claim" the baby.

I'm not being sexist or anything, but i just think that men get least responsibility, especially divorced couples.

What do you think?

Didn't once two guys from that group dress up as Batman and Robin and scale Buckingham Palace?

You would if you were a divorced father.

Maybe, but I'm not. Hence my lack of strong feelings.

Doesn't it matter who the better parent is?

The 2 bits I find really interesting:

1)  A father can lose all rights to access a child yet still be required to pay child support

2)  Nobody cares about sexism when it's to the benefit of women

Yeah, I should amend that to:

Nobody in power cares when it's to the benefit of women, and if they do they're sexist.

Uh..........there are a number of people who haven't said that.

Well, it all depends. If the woman is one of the modern, emancipated "you stay at home with the baby while I go out" women, or if the guy works a lot to keep the checks coming in, I think it should be 50/50. If he's not around a lot, he shouldn't expect to suddenly get rights.

I think its better for the man to support the child considering most men have a job where the woman does not. I have seen/red a few cases that the divorced wife's new husband or boyfriend sexually abuses the child or even kills them. When the father has custody over the child I have never heard of an abuse case (not saying there is none but much lower).
