Buying an open box card is the dumbest thing you can do. Its like buying an ebay item without a description.
If it's faulty you can send it back. Refund. I have bought open box stuff tons of times over the years. I got $100 of a 680i SLI mobo on release (well a week after) and there was not a thing wrong with it.

What Bell said. Open box is just an item that has been shipped to someone, and refunded for whatever reason. If they would've snapped the card in half, they wouldn't re-sell it.
QFT - my A8N32-SLI Deluxe was Open-Box, and I had no problems with it.

Only $90 with the rebate. Get it.
The reviews for that fail, I'm not sure. It looks good though
Try reading the reviews - it's all whining.
The drivers on the disc don't work! Well, download them from the ATi website moron.
The fan doesn't exhaust hot air from the case! It's a fucking single-slot video card, what else did you expect?
