It relatively does, but it's well worth it. I bought it when I bought my PS3 in April, and I'm glad I did...the regular SIXAXIS is WAY too light for me.Andoura wrote:

Yeah, I agree but only for PS controllers. Not trying to start another console war but I'm just saying that the vibration seems more well-done on XBox controllers. I haven't tried the PS3 one but the PS2 ones were absolute shit when it came to vibration because they felt so damn small and cheaply built.VicktorVauhn wrote:
TBH I would way rather have battery life then a controller that shivers.
How much immersion does a slight rattle in yours hands give? I went back and played PS2 and the vibrating controller bugged the shit out of me TBH.
The feedback is only really good if it can mimic what you are doing. If the controller recoiled like a gun it would be worth while but it doesn't it just kinda shakes around a bit.
I take that back even in like racing games where you are hitting the rumble strip its kinda dumb. having just my hands shake is like the opposite of immersion, it constantly reminds me I am holding a controller. If the feed back does not feel like the real thing, and your controller does not feel like the real thing I cant see the point in having it.
I <3 my PS controllers, and xboxs feels awkward as hell....That is really a matter of opinion._j5689_ wrote:

Couldnt agree more, though I agree with poseidon that the six axis is far too light.VicktorVauhn wrote:
