Basically. It looks now as though they're trying to find a way to dump Ireland and force it through in the other member states where they don't have to contend with actual democratic procedure...this despite the fact that it was originally stated that ALL member states had to ratify the treaty in order for it to take effect. I find it surprising anyway that a member of the EU parliament, well paid already, would receive additional allowances for actually attending sessions and doing their fucking job.
I knew it was happening though, since the report is from german TV, and they had done a similar report a while ago.

But that will never happen, of course, since they are making their own rules and regulations. Ironically, transparency is something that career politicians seem destined to avoid, even though they are very fast to demand it from the people they govern....
And we're are supposed to trust these cheats?...in Ireland we were being asked to sign away our right to referendum on matters affecting the Irish constitution and how it relates to European affairs.
