Funny thing - I finally said F.U. to Best Buy and their over-priced cables, flash drives, etc. Walmart blows Best Buy out of the water plus they have those Icee machines.

Sam Walton has been dead for a while. When he ran the company, it was actually a GOOD company to work for and an honorable one. Ever since he died and his sons took over, though, they turned it into the viral epidemic it is today.

California is the most populated state in the union, with a very high pop density. While Nevada has low density, I think the reason there are fewer Walmarts here is the cost. It is VERY expensive to rent land in CA as compared to the South, etc...CapnNismo wrote:

Btw, the Walmart in my town was built on top of the lot that used to belong to my Grandma's restaurant.
Wal-Mart sucks. I remember one time I went there and asked where they had the Mac games, and the person there took me to the PC games. I told them about the issue and they said "No, these games work on both."
