The whole east side is covered, why is there less on the west side?
Kmart?

No, he means maybe competition from Kmart is preventing the west side.
Actually, I think it's the lack of space available? Or lack of population density. Perhaps also Target is more rooted there and it's hard to knock them out.

Oh, sorry.
Funny thing - I finally said F.U. to Best Buy and their over-priced cables, flash drives, etc. Walmart blows Best Buy out of the water plus they have those Icee machines.

Sam Walton has been dead for a while. When he ran the company, it was actually a GOOD company to work for and an honorable one. Ever since he died and his sons took over, though, they turned it into the viral epidemic it is today.

Holy viral plague Batman! That was cool and frightening.
If you haven't seen it, watch Wal-Mart: The high price of low cost. Make up your own mind. I had to watch it for an ethics class.

California is the most populated state in the union, with a very high pop density. While Nevada has low density, I think the reason there are fewer Walmarts here is the cost. It is VERY expensive to rent land in CA as compared to the South, etc...CapnNismo wrote:

Still, there's 2 within 5 miles of me.

Because the east coast needs an exclusive store that the west coast doesn't have a lot of. Sort of like how Fry's is only the fucking west coast.Gooners wrote:

Btw, the Walmart in my town was built on top of the lot that used to belong to my Grandma's restaurant.
Wal-Mart sucks. I remember one time I went there and asked where they had the Mac games, and the person there took me to the PC games. I told them about the issue and they said "No, these games work on both."
Fucking epic fail.
