Its bullshit though that I cannot get my credit card removed, say some one else made an account with it....
It doesn't matter who or what is going on with the account, its my credit card and that fact should allow me to at least have you remove it.

then call their customer support number.
i use paypal for business on an almost daily basis, and the few problems i HAVE run into were dealt with promptly.
furthermore, i have a paypal debit card for my business which i use just like a normal debit/credit card.
no complaint at all.

In a previous post he explained that he made an account a while back, and since forgot the password,
when he called them, they said that the only way to remove it is to go online.

and if he would have simply done what they asked, they would have resolved the problem.
not really any issue that i see, except someone that wants something without going through the proper procedures.

When you buy something, it'll automatically do currency conversion for you, only problem I've had so is that it doesn't tell you the exact amount it's gonna take from your Bank until after you confirm, so it'll tell you the value in American that you send, but not the Canadian balance,

How would them removing a credit card number be fucking identity theft?
I don't want them to give me any of the info from the account, I will verify the information they already have on file, with out them telling me anything... and if I am right take it off. They don't even need to tell me I am right. I don't need any info from them. I don't want any info from them. I can answer ANY question they are willing to ask about information that is already on file, I will tell them every purchase ever made with the account, I am just not willing to send them a copy of my fucking social security card.

Because they are the only company that has ever tried to get my social security information, and they don't need it.

I have shopped other places that will keep your CC on file, and all you have to do is ask for it to be removed. Removing it from the system doesn't give out any information... and if for some reason its not a legitimate request it still doesn't hurt anyone, the rightful owner can just go add it again.

Personally, I take your side, Paypal shouldn't request MORE info to get the stuff already there removed, BUT, it;s their site, their policy, you agreed to it when you signed up, and arguing about it for 2 days on a forum isn't gonna solve anything.

There is less security for someone to start an account, and spend money with a credit card then there is to stop that card from being charged. That's not right.

There is less security for someone to start an account, and spend money with a credit card then there is to stop that card from being charged. That's not right.
