For every skinny guy in this thread that can 'eat anything and not get fat' - first of all.. do you have all/most of these traits: "Hard Gainer", delicate built body , flat chest, fragile, lean, lighty muscled, small shouldered and takes longer to gain fat/muscle, if so then you are an ectomorph (google the term). secondly, you're obviously not eating enough for YOUR body type! Yeah, perhaps your massive mate eats not even half of your daily intake yet is still bigger than you and gains weight/muscle easier, this is simply because he has a different body type, most likely mesomorphic.
You are simply not eating enough for your body type, if you really are interested in gaining weight then eat, eat eat!
PS; I'm also a guy with a high metabolism but with a proper gym routine and eating healthy I've gained roughly 20lb in only a few weeks.
