I'm looking at 24" monitors and, par my routine, I sorted newegg's selection by rating and went from there. What looks reasonable is the BenQ G2400WD. The only problem I see is that it's TN, though I could probably deal with it as reviews seem to be great (at newegg and elsewhere). If you have any other ideas, this is just about what I'm looking for:
- 1920x1200
- Gaming. I certainly do graphics/coding but if anything is the priority, gaming is it.
- <$350, maybe $400 if the screen is worth it.
- I couldn't give a damn about extras. If it looks good and has a DVI input, I'm happy. Anything else can be jury rigged.
- I'd really love to avoid TN/6-bit panels, but I doubt that'll be easy at my price range.
As mentioned, I usually do Newegg but if you have a great recommendation I'll look around.
