Actually they do look to be pretty good for people with a fairly low budget like me, the 240 is selling for £237 on ebuyer which I have to say is a nice price for what is a pretty good processor. Granted its not as powerful as the i7's but there's not a huge gap between them (Toms hardware summarised the gap as being about 22%), given the cost of an i7 system compared to just pulling out my X2 5600 and putting in a phenom 2 240 and no other new components it'd be a pretty nice addition.
EDIT: Now I just need £240 and to not be taking driving lessons so I can actually keep the money I earn...
