So the other day I went into my local Gamestation, and bought Mirrors Edge and the Half Life 2 Orange box. Both pre-owned, and because of a deal they were doing it was £30.
I got home, settled down for what I thought would be a fun afternoon of Free-running, and beating the crap out of police. I put the disc in and it wouldn't start up, I looked at the disc and whaddayaknow? It's very scratched.
The next day my big brother was going into town so I asked him if he could take them in for a full refund.
He phoned me later on and said that Gamestation had said:
I'm going into town tomorrow to take it up with them myself, as my brother didn't want to get involved in what is my battle.
Before I do this, I want some sound advice form you guys.
What do you think? Should they be able to get away with refunding me on Mirrors Edge only, and only for £12.50? Or should I go in a kick ass and say "I want my £30 now bitches"
I'll threaten them in saying I'll call Head Office to see what they have to say, and also, my Father is a journalist for two Scottish papers, so I could say I'll get him to write a story about them.
Help is greatly appreciated

If you apply ANY sort of logic to this you would fathom out that OK, I should at least receive £15 back for Mirrors Edge.Gamestation wrote:
We can only refund you on Mirrors Edge, because you can't just bring back HL2:OB as well, just 'cause you don't like it. Furthermore, we can only refund you £12.50 on Mirrors Edge.
