Well, they are hardly comparable. But surely you understand Miggle was taking the comparison of BF2:SF to BF2 and then COD4 compared to the BF series altogether.Mekstizzle wrote:

not reallty the point i was trying to makeI'm Jamesey wrote:
Anyways, before you gave wowfag nerds a bad name, I said "I'm playing with RL friends"
I'm playing with them to compete in pvp, which requires me to be an endgame level.
If I wanted to soak in environments and explore I'd go outside and take up hiking
What would your first post be after a day of playing? "so I started today and already I SAW TREES AND A HUT AND I KILLED A SPIDER"
thanks for trying to tell me how to enjoy the game though

Wait you have played it since release? Didn't you say you don't play any more...Uzique wrote:
Err played since release, kinda learnt over the countless characters that levelling isn't a speed-race competition. You can do it in /2 days played from 1-70 if you really want to, or you can actually enjoy the game and do it at your own pace- not trying to 'prove' to anyone how unbelievably awesome you are.
Cock.

It seems to me because you've seen I play fps games competitively and you think I'm not a nerd that I'm in the closet games-wise and only play games that are deemed "cool"Uzique wrote:
I said "accept the stereotype" because it just seems to me as if you're trying to treat an MMO as if it was a competitive FPS- denying all of the lore and the MMO-treadmill in order to basically partake in what is a magical 3rd person version of an FPS match..
Awww does me bringing up the fact that you play WoW at uni upset you... didumsUzique wrote:
Err, are you really going to try and argue semantics?
Or just check my Xfire profile that will safely ssh you in a way that circumvents all pedantic word-picking? 'Played' has more than one use
You try too hard Vilham, honestly. I'm all up for holding grudges and thinking you're a foul /fail of a cunt but really, you're chasing the wrong dog up the wrong tree here. I know you're butthurt about me saying Nottingham is a shit University, but whether or not I have played a game in the last 3 months is not going to change that hard fact. By saying "I do not play anymore" I mean, I do not partake in any online MMO-playing activity- yes I said I did buy WotLK and "try it out" but never made it to endgame. My character is in the early-70's and has had about 5 hours of playtime since WotLK release... which doesn't change the 'truth' of my statement, to 'play' an MMO is an entirely different matter than to 'try' new content upon introduction.
