I have a Gateway LP2407 (24" LCD) monitor, bought it a couple years ago. (2? 3?).
Not the best monitor out there, but no major complaints except for long startup time. Anyway it's got a little touch-button for power, that's usually red (for no connection), purple (off), or blue (on). Yesterday I had an issue getting a picture, but unplug/replugging the power source seemed to fix it. The one thing that was different though is it didn't make the same annoying tune when it turned on, it just turned on.
Today, I had to do the same thing. Went out for some lunch, came back, and I can't get it to turn on. I've tried different power sources, and it makes a sound like it's getting power (like an electric connection being made, not from the audio), but the little touch button has no light and has no response from touch.
Ideas? Is my monitor busted?
