Two things have been bothering me with my 4850:
1. When folding, occasionally when the display is up, the screen freezes for about 8 seconds (complete freeze, no mouse response), then the screen flashes red with thin black lines down vertically before going black. Then after another few seconds, the desktop, with folding display, comes up, and a dialog box with "VPU has detected a driver error/performed a rescue etc" pops up. It then happens every now and then whenever the display is up (though more commonly with large scale molecule folding).
2. After extensive use/extensive disuse of computer, I turn on screen (I don't have a screensaver, so I turn off the screen whenever I'm not using it to prevent damage) and find that whenever I click the left mouse button, the screen goes black for about half a second. If I click anything, this happens. Even when I click empty space on the desktop, the screen goes black. Video card doctor utilities/VPU don't come up with any errors, just a screen that goes black now and then. Restarting usually fixes this, but it's bloody annoying.
Any ideas as to what's going on?
