And in no way can you compare an AK whore to a MI-28/AH-1Z whore, Snake
And lets face it, vehicles has always had an on-going problem with vehicle whores.
I think I just did
The point is, there is nothing different between a player who kills all round with a Havok and a player who kills all round with an AK: the only difference is the manner of the kill.
Granted, the havok can be a pain in the ass to take out (unleash the HMG's on the hummers tbh..rips it up), but then so are medics who spam medpacks everywhere! I regard myself as a vehicle whore, but only 58% of my 80k kills (on my only account) are from vehicles
Tis like marmite: you either love it or hate it.

snake, i dont think you get what i truly mean.
i left vehicle maps for some very good reasons. they are very annoying. for example, say you have 20 players on each side. well, good chance at least 5 to 10 of them will be around the main the whole time waiting for "their" vehicle. notice "their." that is my other point. then you have people on the same team crying and moaning like some kids in a sandbox over who gets to play with the toy next. and if FF is on...forget about. just take what i said and you can multiply those issues by two.
Granted, thats true about "their vehicle", which is why the game has scaled maps - not that any of us have played anything other than 64 size
The larger the map, the more vehicles there are, so if theres not even half the amount of players (i.e. 20 players in a 64size map): guess where they all will be. Full 64man servers on maps like Songhua/FuShe, etc, see a lot of good infantry work. Yes, they can end up getting less points, it depends how effective the AT-teams are. I know I often get raped when in said tank/apc in that situation. Generally, those servers are when it all works well. As long as its not on Wake, of course.
Personally, I've always thought that killing enemy armour/helis/jets from the ground should yield more points to the killer to balance out the leaderboards in a round. But at the end of the day: who really cares about points? I like to come top as much as the next person, I don't cry if I don't, because its playing and enjoying the game that's important.
