I'm beginning to like this season.
Hopefully ferrari gets no points again while Rosberg can pull out a win with Kubica and Vettel taking out the minor placings.

Yeah, that's the one place though where it's hard to do everything, and the last place you'd want to be blocked when doing your lap. Sutil and FI could've done more to prevent that situation

Anyway what's up with this damn crazy ass season, every race it's a different team in the spotlight, good to see McLaren slowly getting back up there and I'll bet you they'll be back to going for the top spot once the circus reaches Europe

The Toyota chief was saying they weren't even light on fuel (compared to the others), so it seemed like just a case of them flying through the circuit. Credit to them, at least Brawn aren't dominating like we thought (and feared, well I did, Branson pisses me off) - this race is brewing up to be a good one

The TV cameras are placed in crap positions for the second sector though, that's the complicated bit of the track but for some reason the cameras seem to not be able to show the whole thing

Congrats for Toyota but Im gutted for Webber, really did not deserve that and in that situation, the FIA really need to react a LOT quicker and sort it out (like Coulthard the other year). Had he completed his flying lap, I dont think anybody could say that he wouldnt have made it into Q2.

Hamilton, and Heikki, are definitly picking up the pace, which is good to see - as are Ferrari (damn it), but Ferrari just couldn't make anything of Q3. They are slowly getting there, but by that time, I dont think either team will be in a position to challenge for either the Drivers or the Constructors trophies.

As for Brawn, I kind of agree with kp here (despite dissing my tables from ur friend snake) - I think they hype has got to them, and the way those first 2 races went really favoured them. Lets not forget that Kubica could have ruined the party in Melbourne as could have the Red Bulls in Malaysia had the Monsoon season not kicked in. Mind you, they were solid in qualifying when those issues didn't arise. Perhaps they aren't modifying their car as much as the others?

But DAMN at Bernies collection of F1 cars...those 1938 cars looked immaculate, and I have to say, the Abu Dhabi circuit looks like it is going to be a true wonder in terms of aesthetics and (building) design.

Interesting. Hamilton was running more fuel than the Brawn of Barrichello.. is the McLaren's pace finally starting to show? No, but they have a maximum weight limit imposed on them. Remember KERS adds quite a few KGs to a car. 10kgs of fuel = extra 3.5 tenths of a second per lap.

The more interesting one from those figures is Vettel who's running heavier than up until Massa

Aye, Spain could change the whole look of the season again.  But as Button just eluded to in post-race, BGP will be comming with new bits as well, for the car is "dated" (lol, already).
The European portion of this season will be a knife fight I think.

Meh, Button and Barrichello haven't yet really shown any fighting spirit. They have good people behind them in the pits that make sure they always never really have to fight with anyone for position, maybe only right at the start of the race but so far I haven't really seen Button have to fight it out against someone over a period of laps. I think they've probably had it easy for the most part. Especially Button

Also in terms of speaking with other drivers, I think when Trulli and Vettel were fighting for position they didn't really show much either. Out of all the drivers, I'd say Alonso is the best at actually racing with maybe Hamilton coming in second in terms of being able to actually race against other cars and overtake/defend positions. Alonso is ahead of everyone else by miles in that category, though, IMO.

I think Button did one good overtake right at the start of the race
