Yup, if people will buy it someone will create it, even when it's complete crap.

Remember the iPhone app "I Am Rich" that cost something like $15k and was nothing more than a picture of a red diamond that sparkled? Twenty-something people bought it. The funny thing was that not everyone asked for their money back.

It probably has a wider range of motion (eg, you have a better idea of how empty it is). But still, it's based off of voltage, and that shit is unreliable as hell (temperature changes can make your battery go up, when not being charged.) Piece of shit either way.
