Nope. DTS audio CDs run at 44.1KHz. Makes life very difficult. My on board sound can't cope. I do have an Audigy 2 ZS lying around, which I pulled out if this system when I 1st put Vista on it, because of the Creative audio driver issues. Now that there are proper drivers available, I was considering giving it another go - but it's a lot of hassle, I'd have to find it 1st, which could take ages - so I don't want do bother if it won't work.

I think the X-Fi upscales it by default.

I think the X-Fi upscales it by default.

in X-Fi go to Audio creation mode and select bit perfect- no up sampling

Do you need to use bit accurate mode for it or something?

sadly in Audio creation mode it never worked for me, not sure why, only in the game mode
