Hmm.... well, what i remember is that it was retired shortly after one crashed after take off in france.... what i remember, is that they said there was a piece of debris on the runway that ruptured the fuel tank.....
I guess they decided the safety issues outweighed the pros.....

After a period of being grounded, and once the cause of the crash was identified and the fuel tanks strengthened to prevent the same happening again, they did continue to fly.Morpheus wrote:

But as stated above in the end it seemed to be the cost of running and maintaining them that was the final nail in the coffin...
