is this meant to fly towards me? cos i'm too drunk to get itTy wrote:
Your debate is pretty much if homosexuality was a choice would homosexuals still choose to be homosexual. Of all the out gay people I know none of them would chose to be turned hetrosexual. Their sexuality is a part of who they are. As for people who aren't out but know they're gay there is a possibility that they'd choose to be re-wired into being hetrosexual to avoid the doubts and concerns that come with being in the closet. Still I don't think any scientist would waste their time trying to find a "cure" for homosexuality - what benefits are there to be had?

Nothing wrong with homosexual people.
As long as they are happy....I'm happy for them. Everyone has the option to choose their partner and homosexual people don't bother me.
Well here in Ireland a report out a few weeks ago stated that, there are now more straight people with HIV/AIDs than gay people.jsnipy wrote:

That's what I'd expect to be the case. But what's the difference in the proportion of the gay population with AIDS compared to the straight population with AIDS?Chorcai wrote:

Uh, I would. It's also possible it is a choice.Swan wrote:
I think no one would argue that homosexuality is not a choice.

I'm not surprised. Many more people are straight than gay.Chorcai wrote:
