My friend bought me a Sony turntable/record player while on vacation. The thing is that it's very quiet and based on my basic knowledge of audio components I have to think that the capacitor may be bad or something.
We opened it up and looked at it and it only had a single capacitor, a fuse, and these 4 bridge looking things.
The capacitor was 470 Microfarad and 16v and was by a company named Lelon I think, I couldn't read it very well.
So what would be a good replacement for this? I would like to give it one that is more powerful and therefore better quality and louder than the original.
