Ok. It's 5AM here, and this is going nowhere. So frick it.
Splitting a Coaxial cable (your internet cable) without authorization from your telco is a no-no. Paying for another connection is just pointless, too.
You could boost the power of the wireless routers' signal, but you don't want the FCC knocking on your door because your neighbor's mobile phone doesn't work.
Instead, it's easier to just add a second wireless point, somewhere else in the house.
You can buy (I don't know if they still sell them now..) a "Wireless Access Point", aka a Wireless AP. You plug an Ethernet cable (from your network) into the back of it, and it will share that connection. The easiest way is just buying one of these with a long Ethernet cable for it too, and finding a place in your house that is in close vicinity of where you need access. It doesn't have to be the same room, just close.
You said you have a
wireless router. I'm assuming that the router has more than one Ethernet port, and one of those ports is free. The only tweaking needed is disabling of DHCP on the Wireless AP. The DHCP service on your router already gives out addresses, and It'll cause a problem If your Wireless AP tries to give out addresses too.
or...
JUST RUN AN ETHERNET CABLE.
