whats the deal with all the greedy bastards complainning they want their money back , now when the boosterpacks are getting free ?!

I mean redalert 1 was also able to be downloaded for free when RA 3 came out , besides dunno how much you payed for em but when i was about to buy them they were 9.90 € each (wich i didn't) so its not a fortune exactely...

and last , since i have a "bf2 ultimate colletion pack " WICH DOESNT WORK (although ive totally during 1 week tried to solve the problem speeking with EA by the phone , sat about 30 hours for a total) so im only glad theyre announcing them free so i hopefully get to play AF as I always wanted:D

Some people just like to complain i guess.
EA and Dice are getting slammed on most BF2 forums quite a bit. I think it`s a bit unfair. EA has stood by their product for over three years and they have continued to evolve the BF2 franchise with patches, booster packs and new free maps.
Considering the complexity of BF2 i think it`s really good value for money.
Look at ARMA or ARMA 2, both games so full of bugs they should never be released.
ARMA never managed to be playable despite several updates...
Let`s hope it will be lots of serves hosting the EF/AF maps in the months to come.

It's because people are fucking retards. Maybe giving the booster packs away will result in....more fucking servers? Right now there are like 2 servers for EF and AF, so all those people whining probably don't even get to play the booster packs that they shelled out $10 for. Here's what I would say: OK Billy, you get your refund, but it goes directly back to your mommy's credit card. In fact if I was in charge, I'd fucking ban all the whiners from BF2 and take their game back, give them a full refund and tell them to drown themselves in a small bucket of cleaning solution.

I thought people would be happy. Would increase popularity and servers on which you could play. I'd love them to give SF out for free too just so I can get a decent server with enough people on it to play properly.

What's really gonna happen is now servers will run the AF/EF maps in normal rotations with the other maps. The way it was, whenever a server would do that half the players got kicked, and as such servers needed to be dedicated AF/EF. This way you can go from Mashtuur to Great Wall to Harvest without kicking anyone.
