Actually it's not just NASA that are doing everything anyway. Things have changed. Space agencies around the world work closer together than you think. This mission wasn't just for the moon base, I was just giving some perspective on the long term goals for it all. Stuff like this is important for loads of reasons.Red Forman wrote:

Yeah for this specific moon blast mission it was probably all NASA. But it's not just NASA that is doing everything in general.Two other satellites to look at the Moon - the US Deep Impact probe and the US-European Cassini spacecraft - back up Chandrayaan.
