It's really that good? I read about it back when Jonze had it in production and i was feeling excited about it then. Very much looking forward to seeing it.Marconius wrote:
Where the Wild Things Are - 9/10
Wonderfully subtle film, beautifully shot with amazing acting. The identities of each of the monsters are realized extremely well, and the whole movie depicts a tad bit bleak but realistic view of all the aspects of childhood for Max, the main character.

I'm scared about watching this because I loved the book. I almost always end up pissed off with films of books I like.Marconius wrote:

It's still an absolute shit movie. Only held together by Will Smiths performance.AussieReaper wrote:

more of a happy "everybody lives" scenario, but well worth watching cause there's a few extra scenes with it that make sense.

Roger Moore is generally an OK James Bond, he's got nothing on Sean Connery, but he beats Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan 6-0. In this movie however, his acting efforts were below par.
Pierce is too syrupy imo.KuSTaV wrote:

Pierce iz da man. Sean is the JB. Who is Dalton. Moore is okay, Id rate the actors as Sean>Pierce>Roger>Timmy.
Although Moore does have that classyness about him that Pierce doesnt, but Pierce just has that awesomeness about him.
I thought Quantum of Solace was downright terrible . Biggest letdown in years.Zimmer wrote:
Tbh, although Quantum of Solace was good, it wasn't because of Daniel. Yeah, he's a good actor, but he isn't that good as a Bond.
