It's not even an option for most of us over here. It's no wonder your PP is lower than ours.

Yeah but Buses are are just that, a bus, they stop at every Bus stop. Which means if you want to travel any sort of distance it takes AGES. And they smell, and usually have either a drug addict or an Alcoholic on.

What's PP ?
I'm guessing Petrol Prices? dunno

edit- lolno, he said lower

Because german cars have no SOUL. They're often very good cars, but they're just cars. No spirit. Not like an absolutely crazy italian supercar, or an old british car that keeps breaking down, or an american muscle car that goes VROOOOAR when you put your foot down.
You press the gas, it goes forwards. No terrible understeer or oversteer, brakes that stop the car, and a LOT of excess weight.
Stop watching too much Top Gear and form your own opinion you tool.  Just because you think a car doesn't have "soul" doesn't make it trash, it just means you're trying to sound like a car elitist who only follows whatever advice Clarkson gives you.

Nice car Mac!

I wanna get the new Focus, Taurus SHO or Fiesta.

And jord, that's why they invented express bus lines. When traffic is light they're great (they stop at fewer stops). There's also bus rapid transit which involves building or designating special lanes only for buses, even going as far as separate traffic lights for buses.

We have bus lanes, I still prefer to spend obscene amounts of money so I can drive my car though. Not a fan of buses at all.

Finding this quite wierd. Everyone is talking about insurance of over £2000 when in the age group of 17-20.
My mate has a 1.4 Peugeot 206, is 18, and has been driving just over a year, his insurance is under £1000. He's on his own insurance and fully compt.

Probably dependant on the place you live.

:S.
Confused

Well the address I'm on is in a great area and I'm down as parking on the driveway. I have a 1.2 and am 18.

Your mate must live in a Fort or something.

Oh, and just because it's a boring fucking car I'm suddenly following everything I see on top gear?

Just put the insurance on your parents name and don't dick around for the first 3-5 years. After that it will be somewhat affordable.
