So I made 2nd Lt a month ago or so, and after all that playing, I am only now having fun. I used to only care about points, k/d, etc, but now when I play, its like, "I am gonna do whatever I feel like." I joined a Mastuur server, and hopped into a Vodnik on the MEC. I decided, I'd like to drive this thing around the map a few times for no reason. Off I went, careening into the USMC flags, knocking over poor souls who got in my way. I went through a crowd of like ten guys, and luckily none of them had an AT kit. I left that spawn point and went for their flag with the tank when I saw it had spawned. I managed to beat them to it, got in, and proceeded to finished the round with 33 kills and zero deaths. I had more fun than ever and my best k/d ratio ever. Ironic...
I think the stats element of the game is good and all, but it drove me and probably a lot of other people to play like you were working, seeing how much you can produce. Since not caring I've been just trying to have fun (sounds revolutionary doesn't it?) and have recently found out that its VERY hard to do a barrel roll in a blackhawk.
Anyway, just wanted to sound off about the game.
