No where does it say in the OP about ill heatlh and I don't keep track of everyone's else health status on this site.

I can understand the desire for gaming whilst in the hospital having spent enough time in them myself.
Regardless of his health a gaming laptop STILL SUCKS. The only mobile card comparable to his desktop is the 280M. Such a laptop will be very expensive. If price is not an issue then a good 280M system from a reputable manufacturer is the only way to go. Hopefully you won't have issues with it.
