Ahh, 1.66ghz? That's a bit slow is it not? Yes, it's a Q-core, but underclocking it by that much?

it may only be 1.66 but all i7 are quad core with HT so the computer sees 8 cores, also I believe it got a turbo thing that ramps it up when need be

Derailing? You are such a Troob.
Gaming puts a lot of stress on your mouse and keyboard. Laptops can't handle, for long, that kind of usage.

The video performance is almost always sub-par.
Gaming on a laptop = frustration.

No where does it say in the OP about ill heatlh and I don't keep track of everyone's else health status on this site.
Jay: i am also sorry about your health.
I can understand the desire for gaming whilst in the hospital having spent enough time in them myself.

Regardless of his health a gaming laptop STILL SUCKS. The only mobile card comparable to his desktop is the 280M. Such a laptop will be very expensive. If price is not an issue then a good 280M system from a reputable manufacturer is the only way to go. Hopefully you won't have issues with it.
My laptop has a 220M, and can play games just fine.
