The first post I have read properly in a long time.
Dear God please let my karma one day reach 100, whether it be tomorrow or 1000 years in the future i want it to happen.

@ the SA80 series, over ODS and a while of OIF the military were using SA80A1s - these were terrible; fragile, prone to jamming the works. the army then sent a shitload of them to H&K who made the A2 variant, which by all reports is fucking amazing. I've played with a single-shot version of the A2 and it is unbelievably sturdy, nicely weighted and accurate as shit.FatherTed wrote:

You also have a military that has many many many times the personnel and resources. Deployments are reflective of the available forces of each country. Its also a very political thing. We could send squadrons of F-18 fighters and battalions of Abrams tanks but that is a significant military commitment in which the government would want to be seen to be involved in.War Man wrote:

I've used the F88 (Steyr AUG) many times and I find it to be a really nice weapon. Good accuracy, feels good firing, light...FatherTed wrote:

Well there are a lot of Slim Shadys so it only makes sense that you might not be the only man that is partial to frequent, intense combat.War Man wrote:
