So I got installed an old wireless card, cause my ethernet cable is missing the securing clips on both ends () and keeps coming out both the router and my computer at inopportune moments.
I put it in my computer, then connected an antennae to it, then booted, Googled for the latest drivers after Windows tried and failed (as usual) on that front. I installed the drivers from the .exe I downloaded, and rebooted. This is the driver I used. When I rebooted, Windows couldn't connect to a network. I went into the device manager, and ..
Device manager does however say the drivers are up to date, even when I let them search for themselves or when I point them to the latest .exe.
